Why "Behind the Panic"?

The name comes from Rust's panic!. When something panics, "behind" is exactly where you have to look — the stack trace, the runtime, the ABI underneath whatever abstraction was supposed to keep all of that invisible. That's this blog's whole hobby: tracing what's actually happening back there.

That said, Rust doesn't own this blog. Expect other languages entirely (C#, whatever else ends up under the microscope), and every so often, something that isn't about code at all.
